The Temple of the Mother
For years, sailors have warned of the Rock of the Manta, a place of shipwrecks and death between Khir and Nús. What these sailors did not know what that this black jutting rock was but the tip of a steeple on the greatest temple the world has ever known. Deep beneath the waves, in the centre of a drowned city garlanded with the wrecked ships of countless years is the Temple of the Mother. At the entrance to her temple are massive frescoes and statues depicting her glory and her terrible power. Inside is a maze of old rooms and disturbing warrens that for centuries have seen few visitors.
Since her Awakening, the Mother has taken the temple from its sea bed and flown it into the sky where it has acted as a beacon for great and terrible changes. Where once it rested is now a dark chasm.
